Manitoba RCMP are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was shot multiple times on a First Nation in northern Manitoba. The incident occurred on the evening of June 25, 2026, on the Pimicikamak Cree Nation, also known as Cross Lake, approximately 520 kilometres north of Winnipeg.

RCMP responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on the First Nation. Officers found the 13-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local nursing station and later airlifted to a hospital in Winnipeg, where he remains in stable condition.
