Saskatoon Man Charged in Child Exploitation Probe

A Saskatoon man has been charged following a child exploitation investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service. The investigation led to a search warrant being executed at a residence on the 100 block of Avenue P South on June 25, 2026.

Details of the Charges

Police seized electronic devices and other evidence during the search. The accused, a 34-year-old man, faces charges including possession of child pornography, making available child pornography, and accessing child pornography. He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on July 24, 2026.

According to police, the investigation began after a tip from the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre. The Saskatoon Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit led the probe.

Child exploitation cases have seen increased attention in Saskatchewan. In 2025, the province reported a 20% rise in such incidents compared to the previous year. Police urge anyone with information to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

“We take these offenses very seriously and will continue to work with our partners to protect children,” said Staff Sergeant Dave Peters of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
