A 38-year-old man from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, has been charged in connection with a child exploitation investigation, according to police. The charges follow a joint operation involving the Saskatchewan RCMP Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit and the Moose Jaw Police Service.
Details of the Investigation
The investigation began in early June 2026 after authorities received a tip from the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre (NCECC) regarding online activities suspected to involve child sexual abuse material. Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Moose Jaw on June 24, seizing electronic devices for forensic analysis.
The suspect was arrested without incident. He faces charges including possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, and making available child pornography. The accused has been released from custody on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on July 14, 2026.
