Regina Police Service (RPS) has charged a 23-year-old woman in connection with a double stabbing incident that occurred in the city. The suspect is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, according to authorities.
Details of the Incident
The stabbing took place on the evening of June 25, 2026, in the 1300 block of Albert Street. Officers responded to reports of a disturbance and found two victims with stab wounds. Both victims were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accused was arrested at the scene without incident.
Crime Statistics Slightly Down
In a broader update, RPS reported that overall crime statistics for June are slightly down compared to previous months, with notable exceptions in homicides and arsons. The number of homicides has increased, while arson cases have also seen a rise.
