A woman in her 40s and her child were seriously injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Dalmeny Road and Nixon Drive, south of Osgoode. Ottawa paramedics spokesperson Tyler Leslie confirmed the child is in critical condition, while the woman is in serious condition.

Crash Details

The collision occurred shortly before noon. Paramedic responders from Ottawa and Leeds and Grenville attended the scene. The victims were transported to Kemptville District Hospital. Paramedics did not provide further details on the age or gender of the child.

Road Closures and Public Advisory

Police have implemented road closures in the area and are asking the public to avoid the vicinity. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
