Warrant Remains Active for Edmonton Woman in Regina Jewelry Store Robbery

An arrest warrant has been outstanding for months against an Edmonton woman charged in connection with a high-value jewelry store robbery in Regina. Brianna Bouchie, 34, was supposed to appear in Regina provincial court on September 30, 2025, but failed to attend, resulting in the issuance of a warrant for her arrest that remains active to this day.

Charges Stem from August 2025 Northgate Mall Incident

Bouchie faces a substantial list of criminal charges related to an alleged robbery at the Ben Moss jewelry store located in Regina's Northgate Mall on August 8, 2025. According to police reports, the incident resulted in smashed glass display cases and approximately $200,000 worth of merchandise being stolen.

The charges against Bouchie include robbery, possession of stolen property valued over $5,000, wearing a disguise to commit an offence, possession of forgery instruments, identity theft, and possession of counterfeit money. These allegations stem from a multi-jurisdictional investigation involving the Regina Police Service, various RCMP detachments in both Saskatchewan and Alberta, as well as the Saskatoon Police Service and Edmonton Police Service.

Investigation and Initial Arrest

Police from the RCMP's Warman detachment apprehended Bouchie and a male suspect on September 1, 2025. A subsequent search of their vehicle revealed evidence directly connected to the jewelry store robbery, along with forged documents and tools used for committing forgery offenses.

An October 1, 2025 news release announced charges against three individuals total in connection with the incident. While the legal matters concerning the two male suspects continue to progress through the court system, Bouchie's case has stalled completely due to her failure to appear and the subsequent warrant for her arrest.

Warrant Extends Across Provincial Boundaries

The Regina Police Service confirmed that the warrant for Bouchie's arrest extends into Alberta, reflecting the cross-provincial nature of the investigation and charges. Typically, such absences from court appearances might be resolved quickly through explanations about legal representation issues or unforeseen circumstances preventing attendance. However, Bouchie's situation remains unresolved months after the warrant was initially issued.

Her continued absence means that all legal proceedings against her have been effectively suspended until she is apprehended or voluntarily appears before the court. The Regina Police Service continues to maintain an active warrant for her arrest as the investigation into the jewelry store robbery remains ongoing.
