Police Respond to Afternoon Shooting
Authorities were first alerted to the shooting at approximately 3:30 p.m. Officers rushed to the area of Leitch Drive in the Glenview Heights neighbourhood and immediately secured the vicinity. The residential street, home to more than 40 residences, became the focus of a major police investigation.
Victims Known to Each Other
Upon arrival, police discovered three individuals, all with serious injuries. Two of the people were pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim was transported to a local hospital. By Sunday morning, that individual's condition had been upgraded to stable.
