Halifax District RCMP have made significant headway in a recent investigation, resulting in multiple charges against two individuals from Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia.

The police operation unfolded on Wednesday when officers executed a search warrant at a residential property in the Middle Sackville area. While specific details about what prompted the search remain under investigation, authorities have confirmed the seizure of evidence from the premises.

Charges Laid Against Local Residents

Following the property search, RCMP charged 38-year-old Christopher James White and 37-year-old Samantha Lee Hume, both residents of Middle Sackville. The charges stem from evidence gathered during the police operation.

Christopher White faces serious allegations including:

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Unsafely storing a firearm
  • Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized

Samantha Hume has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose in connection with the same investigation.

Legal Proceedings Underway

Both accused individuals have been released from custody under specific conditions and are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
