A 21-year-old motorcyclist died in a hit-and-run collision in Brampton on Saturday, June 27, 2026, and an SUV driver has been charged with impaired driving, Peel Regional Police said.

The collision occurred at around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Queen Street East and Kennedy Road. Police say the SUV driver fled the scene but was later located and arrested. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
