Madelyne Lemieux, show coordinator for Marketplace Events, expressed enthusiasm about the event's return to Vancouver. The Sleep Country Main Stage, presented by Home Network and The Vancouver Sun, will feature a lineup of industry professionals sharing their knowledge. Real estate expert and TV host Kortney Wilson will present "Designed to Stay, Styled to Sell: Life Is Messy, But Your Home Doesn’t Have to Be," offering advice on home organization and presentation.
Additional speakers include renovation expert Adam Weir and custom home builder Graeme Huguet from My House Design/Build Team. Horticulturalist Egan Davis will also take the stage to discuss emerging gardening trends, providing valuable insights for both novice and experienced gardeners.

For those interested in artistic expression, Calgary-based muralist Rachel Lyon will lead "Paint with Purpose," a live mural painting demonstration. Lyon will be joined by fellow muralists Susan Phan and Angel Kao to create a vibrant botanical composition over six hours daily. The completed mural will be donated to a Vancouver-based charity, adding a philanthropic element to the creative process.
"I’m bringing two muralist friends of mine, Susan Phan and Angel Kao, to help me out," Lyon explained. "Once the mural is finished, we will donate it to a Vancouver-based charity."
Gardening Guidance from Industry Professionals
John Cowie, retail manager at Art’s Nursery, will be available to offer gardening advice and answer questions from attendees. Whether discussing tree selection for privacy or tips for starting a vegetable garden, Cowie aims to support gardeners of all skill levels.
"I get a lot of questions from homeowners wanting to know how to create separation from their neighbours," Cowie noted. "I will give tips for choosing the best trees and shrubs, like deciduous trees that filter light, or small multi-season space trees, such as the eastern redbud, stewartia, and Japanese maple, that possess gorgeous fall colours."
