A tragic three-vehicle collision on Highway 15 near Lombardy, Ontario, has left one person dead and a child in critical condition. The crash, which occurred late Friday afternoon, involved an ambulance and resulted in multiple injuries.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that the collision took place at approximately 4:30 p.m. near Lombardy, a community located about 90 kilometres southwest of Ottawa. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the initial impact involved an ambulance striking another vehicle head-on.
In addition to the fatality, a child was airlifted to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) via ORNGE air ambulance in critical condition. The age and specific injuries of the child have not been disclosed.
Other Injuries and Response
Three other individuals sustained injuries in the crash, with two of them reported to be in serious condition. The ages and genders of the deceased and the injured adults have not been released. All injured parties were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
