A pedestrian was left with serious injuries after being hit by a pickup truck in Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred in the area of Kingston Road and Markham Road, according to Toronto police.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly before 2:30 p.m. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
