Piramal Pharma Limited (PPL) released its annual report for fiscal year 2026, reporting revenue from operations of ₹8,869 crore and highlighting significant progress in sustainability, quality compliance, and business diversification. The company operates 17 global development and manufacturing facilities and maintains a commercial presence across more than 100 countries, with approximately 66% of revenue generated from regulated markets.

Revenue and Business Segment Performance

The company's contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) arm, Piramal Pharma Solutions, contributed 55% of total revenue and supported over 500 global customers across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology ecosystem. During the year, PPL committed US$90 million to expand sterile injectables and payload linker capabilities. Piramal Critical Care retained its number one position in the US Sevoflurane market for inhaled anesthesia and completed the acquisition of Kenalog, serving over 6,000 hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics globally. Piramal Consumer Healthcare delivered ₹1,274 crore in revenue, launched 31 new products and SKUs, and saw its Power Brands grow 24%, accounting for 52% of the division's revenue.

Sustainability and Quality Achievements

Piramal Pharma achieved a 22.6% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions compared to the FY2022 baseline, following approval of its science-based decarbonization roadmap. The company successfully completed 38 regulatory inspections, including three US Food and Drug Administration inspections, maintaining zero Official Action Indicated observations across all USFDA inspections. The global workforce exceeded 7,285 employees, and the company recorded zero fatalities for the fifth consecutive year.

Despite these challenges, we exited the year on a stronger note across three businesses with improved execution and better visibility of future growth.”

Additionally, PPL holds a strategic minority investment in Yapan Bio Private Limited, operating in biologics, bio-therapeutics, and vaccine segments, and its associate company Abbvie Therapeutics India Private Limited leads the ophthalmology therapy area in the Indian pharma market.
