Details of the new charges

Uribe, 34, was originally charged in 2024 with sexual assault involving three clients. The latest charges involve two more women who came forward after the initial case was publicized. Police say all assaults took place at massage clinics where Uribe was employed in Edmonton.

According to the Edmonton Police Service, Uribe faces a total of 10 counts of sexual assault. He was arrested on July 9, 2026, and remains in custody. A court date has been set for July 14, 2026.

Police investigation and public appeal

Detective Sandra Miller of the EPS sexual assault unit stated, “We believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. We urge anyone with information to contact police.” The investigation began after a complaint in 2023.

Uribe had been practicing as a registered massage therapist since 2015. The College of Massage Therapists of Alberta confirmed that his license was suspended in 2024 following the initial charges.
