The family of Liam Gabriel Toman, who disappeared in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, in February 2025, has announced an expanded search effort, vowing to continue until he is found. The 22-year-old was last seen in the popular resort area, and his disappearance has deeply affected the local community.
Family's Determination
In a statement released Thursday, the Toman family expressed their unwavering commitment to finding Liam. 'We will not give up hope,' they said. 'Our search is growing, and we are working with new volunteers and organizations to cover more ground.' The family has set up a dedicated website and social media pages to coordinate tips and search parties.

The expanded search includes grid searches of wooded areas, interviews with residents and tourists, and the use of drones and cadaver dogs. Authorities have been involved since the initial disappearance, but the family believes more resources are needed. 'We appreciate the police efforts, but we feel there is more that can be done,' said a family spokesperson.
Liam was last seen wearing a blue jacket and jeans near the Mont-Tremblant ski resort. He had been visiting friends and was supposed to return home the following day. His phone has been off since his disappearance, and there have been no confirmed sightings.
Community Support
Local businesses and residents have rallied behind the family, offering rewards and organizing fundraising events. A candlelight vigil is planned for next week. 'This could happen to anyone,' said a neighbor. 'We stand with the Tomans.'
The family urges anyone with information to contact the Mont-Tremblant police or the missing persons hotline. They also ask the public to share Liam's photo on social media to keep the case in the public eye.
