Windsor-Essex Easter Markets Offer Unique Handmade Finds

Spring has arrived quietly in Windsor-Essex, but the Easter celebrations are already in full swing, as demonstrated by the bustling crowd at the Kingsville Easter Market on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This vibrant event highlights the region's commitment to local artisans and community engagement during the holiday season.

Local Vendors Showcase Handmade Crafts

More than 35 local vendors participated in the market, offering a diverse array of crafts, many of which were meticulously handmade. The selection included everything from unique artworks to enticing pastries and chocolates, creating a festive atmosphere that attracted residents and visitors alike.

Deanna Santos, market director of the Windsor-Essex Mom’s Market Collective, which organized the event, emphasized the popularity of these homemade items. "The mom market is designed to support local businesses, and it's run entirely by moms," Santos explained. She noted that many of the handmade items are exclusive to the vendors, showcasing the talent of local artists. "There's a lot of really talented local artists here," she added, highlighting the community's creative spirit.
