Windsor Student Wins $70K TD Leadership Scholarship

WINDSOR, Ontario – A local high school student has been awarded a prestigious $70,000 TD Scholarship for Community Leadership, recognizing outstanding volunteer work and academic achievement.

Scholarship Recipient Announced

Tianyu Lin, a Grade 12 student at Vincent Massey Secondary School, is one of 20 students across Canada to receive the scholarship this year. The award is designed to support students who demonstrate exceptional community leadership and academic excellence.

“I am deeply honored and grateful to receive this scholarship,” said Lin. “It will allow me to pursue my dreams of higher education while continuing to give back to my community.”

Community Involvement

Lin has been actively involved in various volunteer initiatives, including tutoring younger students, organizing food drives, and participating in environmental clean-up projects. His dedication to service has made a significant impact on the Windsor community.

The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership provides recipients with up to $70,000 for tuition and living expenses, as well as opportunities for mentorship and networking.

Lin plans to attend university in the fall, where he intends to study engineering while continuing his volunteer work.
