ASUS ROG Reveals Future Gaming Innovations at CES 2026

At a major virtual showcase during CES 2026 in Las Vegas, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) not only unveiled its vision for the next generation of gaming but also celebrated a significant milestone: 20 years of industry leadership and innovation. The "Dare to Innovate" event highlighted a suite of new products and partnerships designed to push the boundaries of performance, design, and gaming culture.

Celebrating Two Decades and Forging New Alliances

The event served as a reflection on ROG's legacy of bold engineering and its deep connection with the global gaming community. Moving beyond pure hardware, ROG emphasized its growing influence in cross-domain culture, merging gaming with fashion, music, and art. A headline announcement was a strategic collaboration with the legendary Kojima Productions, resulting in a signature ROG Flow Z13-KJP special edition device and matching peripherals. This partnership exemplifies ROG's commitment to empowering creators and players within an expansive ecosystem.

Breakthrough Hardware: From AI Power to Dual Screens

The core of the announcement focused on revolutionary new gaming systems. The spotlight was on the world's first dual 16-inch screen gaming laptop, the pioneering ROG Zephyrus Duo, which promises to redefine multitasking and immersive gameplay. Alongside this, the next generation of the ultraportable Zephyrus line received substantial upgrades.

The new ROG Zephyrus G14 (GU405/GA403) and G16 (GU606) models are engineered for creators and gamers on the move. They feature next-gen HDR-class displays for superior brightness and are powered by the latest processors. The Intel-powered variants boast Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 50 TOPS of NPU power for local AI tasks. For graphics, they support up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU in the G14 and an RTX 5090 in the G16, leveraging NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture with DLSS 4.

Maximum GPU power has been increased by up to 23% in manual mode, reaching 130W on the G14 and 160W on the G16. An alternative AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor option is available for the G14 (GA403), offering Copilot+ certification for enhanced local AI performance.

A Glimpse into the Future of Gaming

ROG's presentation at CES 2026 solidifies its position at the forefront of gaming technology. By commemorating its 20-year history while introducing category-defining products like the Zephyrus Duo and forging high-profile cultural collaborations, the brand is strategically shaping the future landscape of interactive entertainment. Attendees at The Venetian Expo, Level 3, San Polo #3403, from January 5 to 8, 2026, can experience these innovations firsthand, with further announcements expected on motherboards, displays, and peripherals.

The overarching message from ROG is clear: two decades in, the company remains committed to transforming daring concepts into tangible experiences that inspire every player to explore beyond the known limits of gaming.
