Dave Cameron, head coach of the Ottawa 67's, has agreed to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Tuesday. The deal keeps Cameron behind the bench through the 2027-28 season.
Contract Terms
The extension comes after Cameron led the 67's to a strong season in 2025-26, finishing with a 38-22-8 record and a playoff berth. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Cameron's Impact
Cameron, 65, joined the 67's in 2022 and has compiled a 128-78-18 record over three seasons. He previously coached the Ottawa Senators in the NHL and led Canada's junior team to a gold medal at the 2022 World Junior Championships.
"Dave has been instrumental in developing our young players and building a winning culture," said general manager James Boyd. "We're thrilled to have him continue leading our team."
Future Outlook
The 67's are poised for continued success with a core of young talent, including top prospects expected to return next season. Cameron's experience and leadership will be key as the team aims for an OHL championship.
