The Anaheim Ducks evened their first-round playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers with a 6-4 victory in Game 2 on Wednesday night in Edmonton.

The Oilers got off to a strong start, with Connor McDavid scoring just 2:34 into the game. However, the Ducks responded with three unanswered goals in the first period, taking a 3-1 lead into the first intermission.

Edmonton fought back in the second period, tying the game at 4-4 on goals by Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman. But Gauthier restored the Ducks' lead with 4:18 left in the period, and Anaheim added an empty-net goal in the third to seal the victory.

The series now shifts to Anaheim for Game 3 on Friday night. The Oilers will look to regain home-ice advantage, while the Ducks aim to take a 2-1 series lead.
