Toronto Raptors forward Collin Murray-Boyles has been named to the NBA's All-Rookie Second Team, the league announced on Wednesday. The 20-year-old rookie earned the honor after a standout debut season with the Raptors, averaging 14.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 52.4% from the field.
Impressive Rookie Campaign
Murray-Boyles, selected 12th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft out of South Carolina, quickly became a key contributor for Toronto. His versatility on both ends of the floor and consistent performances earned him recognition among the league's top first-year players.
He finished third among rookies in rebounds per game and eighth in scoring. The forward recorded 15 double-doubles during the regular season and posted a season-high 32 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers in April.
Raptors' Bright Future
Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic praised Murray-Boyles' work ethic and growth throughout the season. "Collin has shown tremendous dedication and improvement," Rajakovic said. "This honor reflects his hard work and the bright future ahead of him."
Murray-Boyles becomes the fourth Raptors player in franchise history to earn All-Rookie honors, joining Scottie Barnes (2022), Pascal Siakam (2017), and Vince Carter (1999).
The All-Rookie First Team includes Victor Wembanyama (Spurs), Chet Holmgren (Thunder), Brandon Miller (Hornets), Scoot Henderson (Trail Blazers), and Ausar Thompson (Pistons). Murray-Boyles is joined on the Second Team by Cam Whitmore (Rockets), Keyonte George (Jazz), Dereck Lively II (Mavericks), and Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Heat).
