An autopsy has confirmed that a man found dead in an Old Strathcona apartment was a homicide victim, according to Edmonton police. The incident, initially reported as a suspicious death, is now being treated as a murder investigation.
The victim was discovered inside an apartment in the popular Edmonton neighbourhood on Friday, October 13, 2023. Police were called to the scene following a weapons complaint. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
