A stabbing investigation in Toronto took a fatal turn on Friday when the suspect died while trying to flee the scene.
Toronto Police responded to a residential building near Sherbourne Street and St. James Avenue in the St. James Town neighbourhood after receiving reports of a stabbing inside the property.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from stab wounds. The individual was transported to a hospital with serious but stable injuries.
While attending to the victim, police received information that the suspect was attempting to flee the area. However, the suspect died in what appeared to be a fall, according to CityNews.
