Toronto police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who threatened a person and their pet with a knife on June 20 in the Donlands and Mortimer Avenues area. The altercation occurred around 2:22 p.m. when officers responded to a call about a person with a knife.

Details of the Threat

According to police, the suspect produced a knife during an altercation with the victim, chased the victim, and swung the knife at them. The suspect also threatened to harm or kill the victim's pet. The suspect is described as 6-foot-1, with a thin build, a black beard, and black hair. He was last seen wearing a grey striped shirt, a black sweater, blue jeans, black sunglasses, and grey sneakers with white soles. An image of the suspect has been released.

In a separate incident, a man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being found with stab wounds on Wednesday around 3:44 p.m. in the Sherbourne and Dundas Street area.
