A house fire in Brampton has claimed one life, according to Peel Regional Police. The fire broke out early Thursday morning at a residential property in the city, and emergency crews responded to the scene.

Police and fire services were called to the home at approximately 4:30 a.m. Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, and one person was found deceased inside the residence. No other injuries have been reported.
