Two separate motorcycle collisions in northeast Calgary on Saturday evening sent multiple people to hospital, including three motorcyclists and three SUV passengers.

First collision at Skyview Shores Manor

Calgary police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV at 6:33 p.m. at the south end of Skyview Shores Manor N.E. The motorcycle driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while one passenger from the SUV was transported as a precaution. East-west traffic was closed at the scene.

Second collision on Barlow Trail

A second crash occurred at 9:40 p.m. along the 3700 block of Barlow Trail, involving two motorcycles and an SUV. Both motorcycle riders were taken to hospital with serious injuries, and two SUV passengers were sent as a precaution. Traffic in both directions of Barlow Trail between 32nd Avenue and 39th Avenue was shut down.
