York Regional Police are investigating after a home in King City was targeted in a shooting early Tuesday morning. Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area of King Road and Keele Street around 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found evidence that a residence had been struck by multiple bullets. No injuries were reported, and police believe the incident was targeted.

Investigators are canvassing the area for witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage. “We are treating this as an isolated incident and do not believe there is a threat to public safety,” said Constable Laura Nicolle of York Regional Police.
