The assault occurred in the 1300 block of Lexington Avenue, a residential area that has now become the focus of a police manhunt. According to investigators, the attack was severe enough to render the victim unconscious at the scene.
Police have described the wanted individual as a white male, approximately 5'9" tall with a medium build. Surveillance images show the suspect wearing distinctive clothing: a black baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants during the time of the incident.
