Toronto police are turning to the public for assistance in solving a mysterious death case after a man's body was discovered in the city's Annex neighbourhood earlier this month.
The investigation began on February 9, 2024, when authorities responded to a call in the area of Dupont Street and Spadina Road. There, they discovered the body of an unidentified male who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police have released a description of the man in hopes that someone might recognize him. The deceased is described as being between 40 and 60 years old, approximately 5'8" tall with a medium build. He was found wearing distinctive clothing including a black 'Helly Hansen' brand winter coat, blue jeans, and brown work boots.
