Mazda Canada Updates CX-70 and CX-90 PHEV Pricing for Greater Accessibility
Mazda Canada Updates CX-70 and CX-90 PHEV Pricing

Mazda Canada Inc. has announced updated pricing for its 2026 CX-70 and CX-90 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models, effective June 2, 2026. The new pricing reduces the entry cost for electrified driving, making these vehicles more accessible to Canadian consumers.

New Pricing Details

The 2026 Mazda CX-70 PHEV GS-SC now starts at $48,999, while the CX-90 PHEV GS is available from $49,999. This adjustment positions both models to qualify for federal EV incentives of up to $2,500 under the Government of Canada's Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP). The move is designed to lower the financial barrier for families considering a transition to electrified vehicles.

Electric Driving Range and Benefits

The CX-70 PHEV offers an estimated 51 kilometres of electric-only driving range, while the CX-90 PHEV provides 42 kilometres. This allows drivers to complete many daily commutes and errands using electric power alone, reducing fuel consumption and emissions. The gasoline engine remains available for longer trips, offering flexibility without range anxiety.

Commitment to Affordability and Innovation

Mazda's plug-in hybrid vehicles combine efficient electrification with the brand's signature driving dynamics, premium design, and advanced safety features. The updated pricing underscores Mazda Canada's dedication to delivering value and supporting customers as they explore electrified options that align with their budgets and lifestyles.
