Expanded Charges in Project Road King: Three More GTA Men Apprehended

In a significant development, Niagara Regional Police, in collaboration with the RCMP's Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit and Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario, have laid additional charges against three more individuals as part of Project Road King. This large-scale operation is focused on dismantling organized crime networks deeply involved in drug trafficking and organized auto theft across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

Operation Details and Initial Takedown

The investigation, which initially culminated on September 9, 2025, resulted in a major takedown that led to 30 arrests, 213 charges, and the seizure of substantial quantities of drugs and firearms. Additionally, law enforcement recovered 38 stolen vehicles with an estimated value exceeding $3.3 million. This initial phase dealt a heavy blow to criminal activities, but authorities have continued their relentless pursuit of justice.

Continued Efforts and Additional Recoveries

Through ongoing cooperation with the Canada Border Services Agency, detectives have made further strides in the case. They successfully located and recovered 43 additional stolen vehicles at a port in British Columbia, where the vehicles were destined for international shipment. The total value of these recovered assets is over $3.8 million, underscoring the scale of the criminal operations being targeted.
