Windsor police officers were called to the area near Jefferson Boulevard and Wyandotte Street East on December 11, just before 8:00 p.m. The call was in response to a reported confrontation between two drivers.

According to the police investigation, a verbal argument between the drivers quickly intensified. The situation escalated dramatically when one of the individuals allegedly produced a firearm and used it to threaten the other driver.
