On February 2, 2008, Lindsay Buziak showed a luxury home in Saanich's upscale Dean Park neighbourhood to clients she had never met before. The young, successful real estate agent had expressed concerns about the appointment to her boyfriend just hours earlier, describing the prospective buyers as "sketchy."
Those concerns proved tragically prescient. When Buziak's boyfriend arrived at the property after becoming worried, he discovered her body in an upstairs bedroom. She had been stabbed multiple times in what investigators described as a targeted attack.
The Endless Search for Answers
Despite an extensive investigation by the Saanich Police Department and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, no arrests have been made in the case. The mysterious couple who lured Buziak to the showing vanished without a trace, leaving behind few clues and countless questions.
