A violent altercation in London's south end has left one person hospitalized with serious injuries, prompting London police to lay criminal charges.
The incident occurred during the evening hours of Saturday, June 15th, near the intersection of Commissioners Road East and Highbury Avenue. Emergency responders were called to the scene following reports of a stabbing.
According to London Police Service, officers arrived to find an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital with what authorities describe as serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Following their investigation, police have charged 27-year-old London resident Gursharan Singh with one count of aggravated assault. The accused made a court appearance on Monday to face the charge.
