A Guelph resident is confronting serious criminal charges following a terrifying hit-and-run incident that cast a dark shadow over Halloween celebrations in the community.
Waterloo Regional Police have confirmed that emergency responders rushed to the scene of a collision on Halloween night around 9:30 PM. According to authorities, the driver involved chose to flee immediately after the impact, abandoning the victims and sparking an intensive police investigation.
The accused now faces multiple serious charges including:

- Failure to stop after accident
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Additional criminal negligence charges
