The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 39, a cherished community hub, was violently breached in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Witnesses reported significant property damage as intruders forced their way into the veteran-focused institution.
In what investigators believe may be a connected incident, a local cannabis retail store was similarly targeted during the same overnight period. The simultaneous nature of these crimes has raised concerns about organized criminal activity in the Northern Ontario community.
