According to police reports, the incident occurred between 6:10 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. at the intersection near Township Roads 290 and 292. Both vehicles involved were traveling northbound on the highway before they pulled over to the side of the road between these two points.
Mounties state that an initial encounter between the two drivers led to a physical altercation. As the first driver was walking back to his car, the suspect reportedly got into his vehicle and struck the victim before fleeing the scene. The suspect's swift departure has left investigators appealing to the public for assistance.
