Beaverlodge RCMP have issued an Amber Alert for six-year-old Lanakai Morrison, who was last seen in Valhalla Centre, a hamlet in the County of Grande Prairie. Police believe the child was taken by his biological mother, Krista Morrison, and her partner, Daniel Ludwig.
Details of the Missing Child
Lanakai Morrison was last seen on July 7 and is described as having a slight build, long light brown hair, and brown eyes. He is believed to be with his mother, Krista Morrison, 35, who is described as five feet eight inches tall with long dark-brown hair and brown eyes.
Also with them is Daniel Ludwig, 35, who is five feet eleven inches tall with a large build, brown hair, and brown eyes. The group is accompanied by another child, four-year-old Karl Morrison.
Vehicle and Warning
RCMP say the individuals may be travelling in a 2015 Toyota Tundra with Alberta licence plate CTN9517. Police urge the public not to approach the group if spotted. Instead, they should immediately contact police services.
