An investigation is underway in Saskatoon after the body of an unidentified man was recovered from the South Saskatchewan River on Friday morning.

According to a media release from the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS), officers were dispatched to the area of Sturgeon Drive and Spadina Crescent East, near the River Heights neighbourhood, at approximately 9 a.m. on Friday. Upon arrival, they located the body of a man.
