Ottawa police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a Gatineau man who went missing while paddleboarding on the Ottawa River on Saturday evening.
Details of the Disappearance
In a statement released on Monday, police reported that Robson Florentino, 38, was last seen entering the Ottawa River on a paddleboard at approximately 5:30 p.m. from the Gatineau side, directly across from Andrew Haydon Park. Concerns for his well-being have been raised, and authorities are actively searching for him.
Description of the Missing Person
Florentino is described as being of Hispanic heritage, with brown hair, standing five feet seven inches tall, and possessing a muscular build. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing red board shorts and a baseball hat.
