Search Operation

The search involved multiple agencies, including the MRC des Collines de l'Outaouais police, the Sûreté du Québec, and local emergency services. The Gatineau River area was combed using boats and sonar equipment. The operation lasted several days before the body was located.

“We are working closely with the family and the coroner’s office,” Léonard said. “Our thoughts are with the loved ones during this difficult time.”

No foul play is suspected at this stage, but police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
