EXP Arabia, a joint venture between global engineering firm EXP and Al Suwaiket Group, has celebrated the completion of ADRENA, a new adventure and entertainment district within The Red Sea destination. The milestone was marked alongside Red Sea Global during a high-level visit to the developments.
Fast-Tracked Delivery
EXP Arabia fast-tracked multidisciplinary engineering services to deliver ADRENA on an accelerated schedule. The project features Saudi Arabia's largest saltwater surf pool, more than 20 adventure experiences, and a sustainable design approach. Located near Shura Island, ADRENA offers activities such as surfing, wakeboarding, cliff diving, and skateboarding.
Strategic Importance
The completion coincided with a high-level delegation led by Shaikh Mubarak, bringing together key stakeholders to review progress across The Red Sea and AMAALA developments. The visit highlighted the strategic importance of these destinations in Saudi Arabia's transformation efforts.
“ADRENA sets a new benchmark for fast-tracked, multidisciplinary delivery in a complex, performance-driven environment,” said EXP President and COO Mark Dvorak. “Delivered through seamless collaboration and local expertise, the project positions our team to further support Saudi Arabia's infrastructure developments.”
Engineering Excellence
EXP Arabia led multidisciplinary engineering and design services, coordinating civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, low-voltage systems, energy modeling, lighting, vertical transportation, and transportation planning to meet Red Sea Global's accelerated schedule.
“Delivering transformative projects requires vision, technical excellence, and experience creating unforgettable guest experiences,” said EXP Arabia Director Brian Andrelczyk. “Red Sea Global redefined entertainment with ADRENA, demonstrating the power of thoughtful planning, sustainable solutions, and technical excellence.”
Senior Director Karim Mehanna of Red Sea Global added, “ADRENA was brought to life by a team of visionaries capturing the coastal lifestyle and synergy between energy, community, and nature. The result redefines tourism in the region and sets a new standard for Saudi Arabia's next chapter.”
