Performances by Alessia Cara, Bedouin Soundclash, Big Wreck, Choir! Choir! Choir!, Deborah Cox, k-os, Shawn Desman, and Walk off the Earth are among the highlights of Toronto's FIFA Fan Festival, announced Monday by city, provincial, and federal officials. The free festival, requiring advance registration, will take place at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway over 22 days from June 11 to July 19, aligning with tournament match days and offering public viewing of matches.

Free Tickets and Community Access

There was backlash when a $10 admission fee was first announced, but the fee has since been waived for the majority of attendees. Free tickets, available starting May 6, will provide full-day access to match broadcasts, performances, and activities, with 500 tickets per day reserved for community distribution through local youth and community organizations.

Musical Curator and Supergroup

Toronto-based hip-hop legend Kardinal Offishall is the musical curator, presenting Soundclash Society, a supergroup of Toronto's top DJs and special guests. The initial lineup also includes AHI, Allied Nations, Anna Sofia, The Brokes, Classic Roots, Dwayne Gretzky, Ikky, MICO, Murda Beatz, Nimkii and the Niniis, SHOUT! the band, Skratch Bastid, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, The Strumbellas, TOBi, and Tyler Shaw, with more performers to be announced.

Cultural and Culinary Experiences

Fans can enjoy street food and flavors reflecting Toronto's global culinary scene, along with public artworks celebrating fandom curated by programming partner The Bentway. Additional features include a custom soccer mini-pitch, a family-friendly play area, and Tkaronto Market, which will feature five spaces of Indigenous vendors.

FIFA World Cup 2026 Context

FIFA World Cup 2026 begins in Mexico City on June 11 and concludes with the final in New York/New Jersey on July 19. Toronto will host six matches, including the first-ever men's FIFA World Cup match on Canadian soil on June 12 and a round of 32 match on July 2. The FIFA Fan Festival Toronto will also feature 46 live match broadcasts alongside performances, cultural programming, art, and food that reflect Toronto as 'The World in a City.'
