Bryan and Sarah Baeumler Reflect on Life Built Together at Edmonton Home Show

For the first time in ten years, television renovation stars Bryan and Sarah Baeumler are returning to the Main Stage at the Edmonton Home and Garden Show, promising audiences more than just building advice. The couple plans to deliver a deeply personal conversation about their lives, careers, and unconventional family journey that has taken them across multiple countries.

A Decade-Long Return with New Perspective

While Bryan has appeared solo at previous shows, this joint appearance marks a significant departure from their typical renovation-focused presentations. "When we're on stage together, we have that natural banter, but we also love to talk about the lessons we've learned working together," Sarah Baeumler explains. "We'll share some of the projects we've done living and building in multiple countries and what that's looked like for our family."

The couple emphasizes that their presentation will offer a broader focus that extends well beyond construction techniques. "When it's the two of us, the show gets a little more personal and a little less renovation-heavy," Sarah continues. "We're there to answer questions, speak to our experiences and talk about how that's shaped where we are today."

Behind the Scenes of an Unconventional Journey

Audiences can expect insights into the Baeumlers' most significant life decisions, including their unconventional move to the Bahamas to develop a resort while simultaneously operating businesses in Canada. "To us, we were just doing our daily thing, but we recognize now that it was pretty outside the norm," Bryan acknowledges. "We want to give people a peek behind the curtain, not just business-wise, but the nuts and bolts of renovation, design, juggling projects in different countries and life in general."

The presentation will also cover their experiences raising four children while managing a demanding international business. "We're going to talk more about life, the experiences we've had with our kids and what we've learned in our business," Bryan reveals.

Partners in Work and Life

Through years of building homes and businesses together, the Baeumlers credit their partnership as essential to navigating both challenges and successes. "There's comfort and stability there," Bryan reflects. "When you're galloping through life, you need a place of stability to retreat to every now and then."

For Sarah, the upcoming conversation represents a moment of transition as their children grow older and the couple begins considering what comes next. "This is going to be a really personal conversation with Bryan and I, focusing on what life is all about," she shares.

The couple's appearance promises to blend their signature renovation expertise with intimate reflections on family, partnership, and the unexpected paths their lives have taken. Their story offers a unique perspective on balancing professional ambition with personal fulfillment across international borders.
