Rogers Giving Away 500 Free Blue Jays Tickets for Canada Day

Rogers Communications is giving away 500 free tickets to the Toronto Blue Jays Canada Day game against the New York Mets, with the giveaway taking place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at three pop-up locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

How the Ticket Giveaway Works

Starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Rogers customers can visit one of three pop-up locations to receive a pair of tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 75 customers at each location will win a pair of tickets and have their photo taken in vintage seats from Exhibition Stadium, the original home of the Blue Jays where the franchise played its first game on April 7, 1977.

The specific pop-up locations will be revealed throughout the day on Tuesday via Rogers’ Instagram account. In addition to the 225 pairs given away in person, Rogers will also give away 25 more pairs through a dedicated Instagram giveaway.

Significance of the Canada Day Game

“Canada Day at Rogers Centre is one of the most highly anticipated events of the summer,” said Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Rogers. “As a proud Canadian company and owner of Canada’s Team, we’re excited to celebrate Canada Day at the ballpark.”

The Blue Jays traditionally wear their red alternate uniforms for the occasion, and the team offers Canada-themed activities, games, and photo opportunities throughout the ballpark. The first 15,000 fans will receive a Shane Bieber red cut-off replica jersey giveaway.

Matchup and Context

The game also features the return of former Blue Jays star Bo Bichette, who left the team in the past off-season to sign a three-year, $126-million deal with the New York Mets. The matchup is expected to draw a large crowd.

This giveaway is part of Rogers’ broader efforts to celebrate the Blue Jays’ 50th season. Earlier this year, Rogers launched an owner-for-the-day contest for dedicated fans, and its Rogers Beyond the Seat program has given away thousands of tickets to customers.
