ASUS Republic of Gamers Unveils ROG G1000 Edition 20 Desktop and ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle at Computex 2026
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced two new flagship products at Computex 2026: the ROG G1000 Edition 20, a limited-edition desktop, and the ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle, which pairs the handheld console with exclusive ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 gaming AR glasses. These launches are part of ROG's Edition 20 collection, celebrating two decades of innovation in gaming hardware.
The ROG G1000 Edition 20 is a centerpiece of the anniversary collection, featuring a unique ultra-tower chassis with an exclusive Edition 20 colorway, a Glory Gold signature badge, and a factory serial number. It is the world's first prebuilt gaming PC with an AniMe Holo display, a holographic fan system that creates a three-dimensional visual effect on the front panel. The desktop incorporates a dedicated Thermal Atrium for the CPU, a 420mm AIO liquid cooler, and a Tri-Zone architecture that separates thermal domains for the CPU, GPU, and power supply, dissipating up to 1000W of TDP. It is configured with up to an ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090, an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor, up to 128GB of DDR5 memory, and up to 4TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage, powered by a 1000W 80+ Gold fully modular power supply. The design earned a Golden Award in the Gaming & Immersive Tech category at the Computex Best Choice Awards 2026.
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle redefines handheld gaming by including the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 AR glasses, enabling a large-screen experience anywhere. Both anniversary flagships showcase ROG's commitment to reimagining gaming categories, from prebuilt desktops to portable consoles.
Joining these flagships is the 2026 ROG Strix SCAR 18 laptop, which features the latest ROG Nebula HDR display with Extreme Low Motion Blur and supports up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. This laptop continues ROG's tradition of high-performance gaming machines.
During his opening speech at Computex, ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih reflected on the company's 20-year journey, stating, "The Journey of Dare began with a defiant spirit, a refusal to settle for the status quo. Twenty years on, we didn't just change the game, we transformed the world around it."
The Edition 20 collection spans desktops, laptops, handhelds, and other categories, highlighting ROG's ongoing innovation in premium gaming. The G1000 Edition 20 and Ally X20 Bundle are now available in limited quantities, with the Strix SCAR 18 expected to launch later this year.
