A 73-year-old motorcyclist from Lanark Highlands Township was transported to a trauma hospital in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday, July 8, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Crash Details and Emergency Response
Just after 2 p.m., officers from the Lanark County OPP detachment responded to the scene on Wolf Grove Road, between Gibson Road and the Eighth Concession B Lanark. The motorcyclist, a man from Lanark Highlands Township, sustained critical injuries and was airlifted by Air Ornge to an area trauma hospital, police said in a news release.
Wolf Grove Road between Gibson and the Eighth Concession remained closed for several hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene, police reported.
