The tornado occurred around 7:45 PM local time, according to Environment Canada meteorologists. It was classified as an EF-0 on the Enhanced Fujita scale, with winds estimated at 100 km/h. The tornado remained in an open field for approximately 10 minutes before dissipating. No structures or injuries were reported.

Environment Canada issued a tornado warning for the R.M. of Round Valley including Denzil and surrounding areas. Residents were advised to take shelter immediately. The warning was lifted by 8:30 PM as the storm moved eastward. Local authorities conducted a damage assessment and found no significant impacts.
