A recent boil water advisory in Greater Sudbury that lasted two days has been determined to be a false alarm, according to officials. The advisory, which was in effect from May 6 to May 8, prompted residents to boil their tap water before consumption as a precautionary measure.
Following extensive testing and analysis, authorities confirmed that there was no contamination in the water supply. The advisory was lifted after water samples showed no signs of harmful bacteria or other pollutants.
