Canada's Wonderland has announced an expanded lineup of fireworks nights for summer 2026, including a record five shows in July alone, along with a new membership program that offers unlimited park access for a low monthly fee.
Record Fireworks Schedule
The park will host fireworks displays on July 1, 4, 11, 18, and 25, as well as on August 2 and September 6. All shows begin at 10 p.m. and feature over 6,000 colourful fireworks soaring more than 800 feet in the air, choreographed to an original soundtrack created exclusively for Canada's Wonderland.
Christopher Mortensen, park president, stated: "This year we're hosting a record number of fireworks nights, giving guests more opportunity to experience one of our most memorable traditions. From our attractions to events and entertainment, there's always something new to experience at Canada's Wonderland and we hope every guest leaves already looking forward to their next visit."
New Membership Program
The new membership program offers a Gold Membership for $9 per month, plus an initial processing fee up to $9.99 and applicable taxes. This membership provides unlimited visits through four seasons of fun, including Splash Works in summer, Halloween Haunt, and WinterFest.
A park spokesperson explained that unlike seasonal passes, memberships remain active until cancelled, eliminating the need for annual renewal. This gives guests the flexibility to visit whenever they choose.
Members also gain access to Six Flags parks in the Midwest Region, including Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Six Flags Darien Lake. Additional benefits include exclusive discounts on food, beverages, and merchandise, bring-a-friend offers, seasonal promotions, loyalty rewards, and other exclusive perks.
